PARC (People’s Action for Rights and Community) Needs a Donation!

People’s Actions For Rights and Community (PARC) is a venue for community organizing; a space where people can converge, plug-in, and share information; a place where one can meet hygiene needs and clean themselvesup; somewhere that projects, grassroots efforts, and various people’s initiatives can be thought out and worked through; a place where one can stop by to share a meal, get a pair of pants, or borrow a good book from the lending library; a space for workshops and teach-ins; a place where one can be listened to, respected, and encouraged; somewhere to rest your mind, feel safe and included, and catch your breath.

PARC serves many different functions within the community, is completely maintained by volunteers, and is entirely sustained off of donations. This means that donations are needed to keep this place alive, to allow it to survive, and to encourage it to thrive. PARC relies on people, like the person who is reading this message right now, to help out by contributing what they can. Especially at this time of the month, rent is one of those expenses that just has to be paid. Especially at this time of the year, blankets, sleeping bags, and warm clothing are much needed donations.

Please help out if you are capable of doing so.

Come by and see us.
