St. Vincents Roof Collapse – Lots of Fire Trucks Headed North on I St. in Eureka 11:32 AM

Don’t know whats up it looks like they are going to 2nd st.

Eureka City Fire and also yellow Humboldt County trucks and commanders.

2nd St is closed between F & G.  On that block is several restaurants (Hurricane Kates, Oberon Grill, the Pearl nightclub), the Vance Hotel, several retailers and the St. Vincents thrift store.

I am just going by what I can hear on the radio.  Anyone down there want to comment?

1155 EPD requests PG & E to come to scene.

Ahh the times standard has it at 1220, partial roof collapse @ St. Vincents thrift store, no injuries reported as of yet…

106 PM PDT KGOE reports that there are people trapped inside the building….
