  1. October Surprise came very, very early this year. I guess some very important people want Obama to win his next election.

Of course, for a man who was in end-stage renal failure from diabetes around the time of 9/11 and needed regular dialysis treatments at western-style hospitals, it sure did take a while to find and finish off Usama.

Guess we need a new boogeyman now.

  2. Had to hunt down this video file again.

And of course they tossed his body in the drink “in observance with Islamic tradition” (because we’ve always been so respectful about that in the past) rather than conduct an autopsy — is there an autopsy? I hope I’m wrong. I doubt I am.

OK, I’m done raining on people’s parades. Congratulations Obama; I’m sure the world is a safer place now that the big bad wolf created by our intelligence apparatus is gone.

  3. Some may laugh at this assertion but there is a ritualistic aspect to this as well.. Osama was killed — sacrificed? — on May Day?

May 1 – The high day on the druidic calendar – usually accompanied by human sacrifice.

    The May-Flower

  4. It’s been obvious for months now that Obama needs a war. Everything else has failed to boost the economy so Obama will try the FDR solution. Libya just isn’t cutting it, its a war but not nearly big enough. Whether or not Osama bin Laden was still alive or not, and I too have some doubts, this raid was a provocation against Pakistan. It could lead to war. I hope not.

    have a peaceful day,
    Bill
