Head Seeds – Arcata Trainwreck Bx
“The next generation of me trainwreck replication project, this back cross shows a high number of plants which are very similar to the Arcata Trainwreck in structure, flavor, aroma, and high. The mother is, of course, the one and only Arcata Trainwreck, a plant renown for her particular high and flavor, and the fathers were selected from my first backcross.
Expect Lime scented flowers with an undertone of skunk, and a high that comes on quickly and hits hard,
with a strong cerebral component and a moderate stoniness to the body. “

Funny you posted this I just picked up a pack. Is there a reason you chose this over the WreckD?

Seedboutique lists only the wreck. Maybe Head released some other strains on the auction site?

Correct. It seems many of his followers on ICmag are waiting for the Trainwreck pheno Casey Jones release sometime in the next 10 days. I figure I will grab a pack to check out the hype. It is nice not having to worry about all the problems clones are coming with these days. When are people in the 707 going to care about the pests they are giving their friends? Maybe the day people stop using inorganics………

Ahh the guessing game. I usually try not to voice my opinion about mock seeds from clone only strains. I really can’t say I have seen anything coming from seed someone around here was willing to call Trainwreck. Not to say they didn’t try
I just picked up these seeds to see how close of a portrayal H3ad has gotten in hopes to have some decent pollen to further stabilize. Alas, things just never work out they way you hope. Goodluck finding the answer to your question

Yeah I know what real trainwreck is because I can walk into a dispensary in Arcata and buy some. But I have no idea which of these seed companies are producing a close approximation. Breeder’s Choice looks like it might be close, as well as Woodhorse and supposedly Dr. Greenthumb. By description it doesn’t seem like the Greenhouse version has much to do with Arcata but I could be wrong, and of course it may well be a fine strain on its own. Maybe the Head Seed version will be good too the pix of the first bx looks delicious.
