Sacramento man dies after struggle with Roseville police

A 36-year-old Sacramento man died Friday evening following a struggle with six police officers and jail staff in the Roseville City Jail, the Roseville Police Department disclosed today.
Once in the booking area of the Roseville City Jail, the man began to struggle with officers. A total of five police officers an one correctional officer attempted to subdue the man, Doane said.
When the man continued to resist, a police sergeant Tasered him in the buttocks, the release states. Doane said the man continued to struggle for roughly one minute and then stopped breathing and lost consciousness. The officers then began CPR on the man.
