That’s the good news for us medical marijuana patients. The Hummingbird Healing Center is close to St. Joseph’s Hospital and near the bus.
Thanks to the stupidity of the Eureka City Council and City Manager this dispensary will provide NO TAX REVENUE to our cash strapped city because it is located OUTSIDE the city limits.
Way to go. Now maybe these idiots will come to their senses and allow reasonable medical marijuana in the city that is the capitol of the Emerald Triangle. One can only hope for intelligence in government. Of course I mean institutional stupidity. Councilmember Linda Atkins brought this forth courageously a few months ago and I hope she revisits it now that the dank is out of the bag.

I’ve been using marijuana in my art for close to 20 years, and have had my own web site (http://www.marijuana-art.com) since 1998. My husband George and I were active members of WAMM (the Wo/men’s Alliance for Medical Marijuana in Santa Cruz), and my work is well known in its own tiny niche. I created many tees for WAMM fundraisers and other organizations around the country.
Since we “retired” and moved to Willits five years ago, I’ve wanted to get more of my wholesome designs out to the public. I’ve been working on my own brand of marijuana camouflage – Camomoto (camomoto.com) – for about a year now, and have come up with 30 of them so far. I’ve started making tees with just one design, and want to show off a new one on a regular basis. Tank tops are right behind.
We started with both organic (black) and recycled (sand) tee shirts. They are four-color and wash very well. We’re trying to be as green as possible, but haven’t found a supply for hemp shirts yet. That’s our goal. The tanks are Anvil cotton. Look forward to getting advice. Thank you!
Sincerely;
Jean Hanamoto

I’ve jumped to designing for fabric, and it’s the right direction for me. I still have tee shirts, but fabric is perfect for my designs.
Marijuana/ Ganja/ pot leaf motif. Real marijuana leaf designs, beautifully complex patterns on 55″ wide cotton fabric. Make dispensary wear, summer dresses, Aloha shirts, head wraps. Use it for quilting, home decor, gifts for friends , fund-raising. Designed with love by Jean Hanamoto in Mendocino County, CA. Legal in all 50 states!
