Covad adds T1 service in Eureka

 

Covad Communications Co., a provider of integrated voice and data communications, said Monday it is extending the availability of its business-class T1 service to 285 new cities today through an agreement with New Edge Networks, a wholly-owned subsidiary of EarthLink Inc.

San Jose-based Covad said its T1 service gives business customers increased bandwidth and greater reliability from their Internet connections.

Covad said that in California the new T1 offering will be available in Eureka.  Covad offers DSL, Voice Over IP, T1, broadband wireless, Web hosting, managed security, IP and dial-up, and bundled voice and data services.
